Senior and Junior Software Engineers (Java)
The Role:
Applied Card Technologies Limited is a global IT systems provider specialising in smart card transaction systems. Due to continued strong growth ACT is currently seeking talented developers at all levels to join its dynamic software development team. The successful candidates will be involved in the development of ACT products within the transport, retail/hospitality and tourism industries.
The person:
- Educated to degree level in a suitable technical discipline.
- Substantial commercial software development experience.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English; written and verbal.
- Disciplined and organised.
- Keen team player.
Technical Skills:
- Experience of Java development.
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Unix/Linux.
Optional experience
- Knowledge of enterprise Java development.
- Servlets, JSP, J2EE, Perl, Apache, HTML, XML, SOAP & other web technologies.
- Oracle, SQL Server or other relational database.
- Knowledge of JavaEE5, EJB3 and JPA
